Oops....

*Sigh* Well I was suppose to do a post every week about the things I was thankful for last month, but I only did one week. :(

Since its already December and Thanksgiving has come and gone (once again), I'll just do a quick list of the top things I'm most thankful for..

  1. My Heavenly Father who sent his Son to earth, to die on a cross and take all my sins away. :D
  2. My Amazing and Wonderful Husband, don't know where I'd be without him. We've been through some rough spots, He has seem me at my worst and yet he is still here. I don't know what I did to deserve him. I love him so much! <3
  3. Our Sweet little Boy, Gideon, he always makes us laugh and smile, I'm very blessed to have him (and his Daddy) in my life. <3
  4. All the rest of my Family that's out there, I'd name them all but that would be a lot of names :P
  5. All my Friends, especially the ones who have gotten me through some hard times in the past. Y'all are awesome!        And Last but Definitely not Least.....
  6. The momma's from my Mommy Group, we've been through our pregnancies, births, late nights, first birthdays and for some second Pregnancies. They are almost like a second Family to me. <3

I seriously can't believe that December is already here!! WHERE HAS THIS YEAR GONE?!?!?!?!????
This time last year Gideon could barely crawl now he's walking everywhere and hardly ever crawls anymore. He's growing up so fast! :')

Speaking of Gideon, he's up now so I better get off so we can go have breakfast. ;)
Hopefully next time I post something it won't be a month from now. :P

Things I'm Thankful for Week 1

Well its finally November, which means Thanksgiving is almost here, and for those of you who have Facebook (or even Google+) you may be seeing some of your friends postings things they are thankful for for the next few weeks. I decided that instead of doing it on Facebook or Google+ I'm going to do it on my blogs..so that it also gives me something to post about. Though instead of doing it once a day I may just do it once a week, not really sure just yet. :)

This week I'm Thankful for: The simple everyday things in my life like- Cars, AC, Heating, Lights, Running water, a Bed, Blankets, TV, things like that. We have these on a day to day basis and don't really think twice about it, when really we should be very thankful we can have such things in our lives. Because there are people out there who don't/can't have them, some maybe happy without those things but there are others who wished they had them.

What's going on...

It's been almost 20 days since I last posted something here, so I figured I'd better post something even if its not that much.

There's really not a lot going on right now, just the same ol' same ol' stuff. Mr. K works, I stay home with baby, on his days off we might go shopping or do something or we might stay home; just depends on what he feels like doing. :)
Though the other day we went to Hobby Lobby, we both love it there! They just have amazing things there. I really can't wait until we get a house and are able to totally decorate it how we want. :)
Today was suppose to be Mr. K's day off from work but yesterday they asked if he could come in since they're short handed. It's nice on the pay check but I still don't like it that much. :-/ So I'm painting my nails, working on my stories, posting on my blogs while the baby is still sleeping and then later I'm goin' to just relax and hang around the house until he gets home. I even rented the next few discs to the TV series I've been watching lately: White Collar. Since today is Sabbath I probably won't be doing too much, I'll be doing most of the cleaning and shopping tomorrow anyways.
Thanksgiving is next month, I can't wait! It's one of my favorite Holidays :) and this year Hanukkah starts the day after Thanksgiving. :) It's going to be Awesome!

Our son Gideon is walking more and more each day, he hardly crawls at all anymore. It's just really amazing how fast he's growing up, its been very bitter sweet watching it the past few months.
Before bed he likes to run around the house with a stuffed animal with our Dog Knight chasing him, Gideon thinks its totally hilarious and will sometimes roll on the floor while he laughs. It's so cute, Mr. K and I get a kick outta it. It's amazing what he finds entertaining, sadly I think he takes after me in that area, being easily entertained with the littlest things. :P

Camping experience

Wow...yea I'm really doin a bad job with keeping up with this blog. Sorry. :/
We had a really awesome time at Sukkot! :D It rained the first day but for the rest of the time it was pretty nice other then being cold during most nights. We had bible studies in the morning, and Praise & Worship w/dance at night. During the day it was mostly free time, sides from prayer meetings, dance class and one day we had a canning class.
Some of our friends were there, and we got to meet some new ones also. :) They had a couple hiking trails there so we went for lots of walks.
Even though its nice to be in my own comfy bed, I really miss the outdoors! It was very relaxing and nice; even if there were a lot of ants. :P
Gideon loved it, he really got better with his walking while we were there too. He loved exploring all the new things, and he was a trooper when it came to the ants, hardly cried at all when they would bite him, and he got a lot of them, poor baby.
Mr. K was extra happy to be outta the city for awhile, now that we're back he really misses the trees that were there.
Another thing I really liked was I hardly had to cook or do dishes there! Matt did most the cooking and cleaning up afterwards and I made sure the tent, car, and picnic area stayed clean and/or organized. AND... He helped change diapers too!! O.O (his least favorite job) it was pretty awesome ;)
Do to the burn ban, we didn't get to roast a lot of our hot dogs but onces it lifted we did have smores several times. :) Since we used marshmallow cream we had to improvise, so the first night we snaked a twizzler on the roasters then dipped it in the cream, but after that we bought 3 marketeers and put them on the roasters instead. It was actually really good both times :) also I had a very hard time not eating the marshmallow cream with a spoon, I just couldn't put it down. It was sad. :P
All in all it was a really great and wonderful time!!! :D

Sorry for the Delay

Hey y'all.... I just want to say sorry its taking so long to get the next part of my story up. When on the camping trip I didn't really work on it at all so I'm try to play catch-up, and try to get through some writers block as well. As soon as I get some more written I'll post it, I promise. I just might take a little longer then I'd like it too.
Again I'm sorry it taking so long!!

Feast Days

Well as some of you know..and some probably don't know..we keep the Feast Days that are in the Bible-like, Passover, Sukkot, Day of Atonement, Hanukkah, ect.

The ones coming up soon are Feast/Day of Trumpets, Day of Atonement, and Sukkot. I'm not totally looking forward to Day of Atonement since we fast for the whole day, but hey I think it'll do me some good. And plus I got to keep in mind that it's not a Day for us but for our Heavenly Father. :)
The one I'm really looking forward to is Sukkot; a whole week of camping, its going to be fun! Also we get to go with some friends and a lot of other Believers to a campground for the whole week, its going to be Great! :)

I think Sukkot is definitely one of my favorite Holidays along with Thanksgiving, Fourth of July and Hanukkah! :)
I enjoy Sukkot mostly when we get to go camping (and not just in our front yard either) and get together with other like minded believers, Thanksgiving cause it brings family together, Fourth of July cuz its in the Summer :P plus we get to do fireworks and sometimes go to the Lake, and Hanukkah because that also brings the family together plus you get to give gifts-which is always fun :D

Gideon is still kinda young right now so he probably won't remember any of the Holidays/Feast Days that we've done so far or know exactly what we are doing right now, but I'm hoping he'll enjoy them when he gets older as much has he seems to enjoy them now. :)

My not so busy/kinda busy month of August

Well as you can see, I was terrible at posting new things in August and it is September. This year has just gone by way to fast that's for sure. :P

Anywho.... I shall try to recap the month of August in this post, though I have no clue how long the post itself will be.
So my Sister visited for a week round the 1st, Mr. K did NOT like driving to the big City to take her to the bus stop but we did and boy, there are some creepy people out there that I hope to never meet again..no offence to anyone but since having a baby I've become more, I guess you can say 'Alert' to the people around me and my family. After she went back home we didn't do much just went to the lake a few times and Bass Pro Shops (one of my Husband's favorite stores). :)
Then I had my birthday, I didn't do much since Mr. K had to work that day but it was kinda nice to be able to just relax and enjoy the day, though that night we had a nice dinner and Mr. K got me a couple beautiful Roses and some turnovers for dessert, it was perfect! :D That night my mom came to visit from Missouri, she got to stay for almost a week before we drove her back up to Missouri where the rest of my family is...well some of them, not all. While my mom was down here we didn't get to do much but stay at home, clean, take care of the baby, have ice cream and root beer floats, and watch TV Shows (NCIS LA and Duck Dynasty are Awesome!! Just say'n..). The ride up to Missouri wasn't too bad though we did have to make a few extra stops for diaper changes with the baby but hey at least we all got to stretch our legs for a little while. OH and then of course when we were finally almost to our destination what happens??!?! Gideon has a major diaper blow out! It was all over his legs, in his carseat, and since we didn't notice it right away when my Mom handed him to me I put him on my hip not knowing poop was leaking outta him and got it on my dress, hands and arms. AHH the joys of being a mommy! -_- lol but hey we were able to get cleaned up in the bathroom and daddy wiped up the carseat and we were soon on our way. When we got to Springfield we did a little shopping at the mall, and finally got some good lunch at Purple Burrito (Oh SOO delicious!). Next day we slept in a little bit before some friends came over, (got to finally meet my little brothers new -and first- Girlfriend), later that evening some of them and my siblings were out driving (trying out the new cool cars) and they hit a deer, it was kinda interesting but hey they got some good deer meat outta it...and a few bumps on a nice car. :P
We got back home Sunday night, even though I miss my family and I did have a good time visiting with them, Mr. K and I are glad to be home, and I'm sure Gideon is too (he's been getting into all his toys and playing with the cat and dog, I think he missed them.<3 ).

No clue what we have going on this week or next but I'm sure its goin to involve some good relaxing and family time.
I know later this month we are goin camping for Sukkot for almost 2 weeks. It's gonna be awesome! 2 Whole weeks of nothing but family, camping, the outdoors, and bible studies. :D And plus Mr. K has no work for the whole time! *Happy Dance*

Babies...So Messy, Yet, So Cute!

I never realized being so messy could be so cute, and yet even when my Baby..who actually is now a Toddler..gets into something or is eating something and makes a big mess out of it or he's got food all over himself he's just SO Cute I can't help but smile sometimes at it. Like right now he is sitting in his highchair eating his Cheerios and they keep sticking to his hands so he starts shaking them like he's trying to get them off, but then he realized how much fun it was to hit his hands on the tray making the Cheerios jump around and stick to his hand even more. Then he'll look at his hands see all the Cheerios eat a few off his fingers then start clapping like it's the best thing ever! haha :D He seems to find his breakfast very amusing, and interesting today and I can't help but smile at him, which only makes him laugh and smile even more. :P If only us Adults were/could be that carefree sometimes, I think it would low our stress rate a lot, but I guess that's why we have our childhood. :)

A little set back

Hey y'all just wanted to let ya know that I'm having a little problem with getting my book posted. Still kinda new to how this all works, but I'll try and get it up as soon as possible :)

My Kinda Busy Week

Well its official..my little baby boy is a year old. :') Its kinda bittersweet, he's grown so much over the last year and it's all flashed right before my eyes.
So the day before his birthday (Monday) we went to the lake and did some swimming, took him a little while but he loved the water. We all had a blast, though he was a complete momma's boy after a little while, no one could hold him in the water except me and he didn't like it whenever Daddy or his Auntie Liz splashed me either just made him cry, poor thing. Down side about the lake that we were at was every time I tried to relax on the bank and read my book Ants kept biting me! It was terrible! Then if it wasn't ants it was these tiny little bugs that were bigger the Chiggers but smaller the Seed Ticks, they hurt and itched a lot.
For his birthday we went to Bass Pro for a little while, then went to see a movie, did some birthday shopping, went swimming since it was so HOT, then later instead of having cake we had fruit salad since Gideon loves Fruit so much. :)

My little sister got here on Sunday for her visit, and she'll be here until this coming Sunday. It's been good to have her here, its funny watching her changing a poopy diaper. :P haha

Mr. K is working today and tomorrow so I'm going to try and get some cleaning done but we'll see what I get done. I thought my headaches had gone away but for the past few days they've come back and it's been making it hard to do things. :( Wish I could find my Peppermint Oil to see if that would help but since we moved to this Apt I haven't been able to find it anywhere. So I'm having to stick with Tylenol and Migraine meds, which just don't help as much.
Friday I'm not totally sure what we'll be doing, we'll see what we feel up to doing. On Saturday we got church and hopefully VolleyBall with friends, which is always fun. :) Then on Sunday my Sister is leaving to go back home, so that means another trip to Dallas, which I don't mind that much but Mr. K on the other hand isn't that fond of the city, it stresses him out, so when we get back home there'll probably be a lot of relaxing but right now that sounds really good.

Feeling Random

My Lil Sis Is Coming to Visit!!! :D Haven't seen her or the rest of my family in Missouri since the end of March, so its gonna be great to see her. :) My Mom was gonna come too but things came up and she can't come :( But hopefully I'll get to see her and maybe my brothers later in the year, and if my Dad ain't working, him too. :)
My Older Sis, tho I haven't seen for almost 3 years. 0.0 It sucks when you're living 2000 miles away from family. She hasn't even met her lil nephew yet, but hopefully here soon she will get too. :)

Well today we are having the water cut off for a few hours so they can fix a leak. I was worried they might not get to it until close to dinner time (Land-Lady said they'd be doing it anytime between 8:30am and 5:30pm) but thankfully they are doing it now (around noon).

I had to get some blood drawn today at the Hospital for a blood count, I'm glad it didn't take as long as I thought it would, but I think the Lady who drew my blood missed my vain the first time 'cause it really hurt! I can usually stand the needle and pain but that first time she put it in it did NOT feel good. :'( So she had to take it out and try again with a second needle, she got it that time thankfully. I'll be getting the results back tomorrow, I'm hoping its not that bad and/but that it'll explain the Headaches and Dizziness I've been having lately, but we shall see.

OK, so as I'm writing this I hear Gideon crawling around playing with paper and some sheets of stickers that he got outta the scrapbook area. I look over at him make sure he's not like putting them in his mouth or anything, and whats he doin?? He's taking the paper he has/finds and is putting it in the trash bucket. *sigh* I better keep an eye on the papers that he gets his hands on, I don't want to be throwing out any important paper work. :P

Living in the City

Ya know, even though I really miss living in the Country, living on the out-skirts of town really ain't that bad. Sure it gets a little noisy at times-especially when you live by a Hospital, and when some of your neighbors drive motorcycles- but at time it can be a little peaceful and relaxing. It might not be as peaceful and relaxing as it is in the Country but hey, its better then nothing.
We still can hear crickets outside our window sometimes so that's definitely nice, and we get birds that like to roost outside our windows also, especially since we put up our bird-feeder on the porch. The other day I stepped out of our door and accidentally scared two birds away when they were feeding.
After I put Gideon to bed on some nights, Mr K. and I like to go sit out on the porch and enjoy the evening together. Though we really can't wait until we get a house and be able to really set up our porch nicer and more cozy-right now we just got two camping chairs and a little plant to make this porch feel a little homey.
Don't get me wrong, I'm very thankful for the place we have right now, but like my Husband says very often, "I can not wait until we get our own house, out in the middle of no where!". :)

As I'm writing this I'm sitting out on the porch with Mr K. and he's telling me about some of the things him and his brother did when they were younger. He said, one thing about living in the City you don't get as many snakes here as you do in the country. I replied saying that we also don't get as many spiders either. And he was like spiders aren't that bad, I'd hold on in my hand and have no problem. He went on saying that when him and his brother were younger that they use to pull the legs off of Daddy Long Leg Spiders until they only had one leg left. How mean is that?! Poor Spiders! Though what little boy hasn't taken the legs off of a Daddy Long Leg, I know my little brothers use to do it. :P  I mean, how would they feel if some big giant came and started pulling their limbs off, just leaving their bodies and heads to roll around? Mr K. thought I was very funny, saying one minute I didn't want having a spider around and then the next minute trying to defend them.
Some how after telling me about Spiders he switched the topic to a big fish story, how "when he was about 3 years old he caught this HUGE Bass Fish,
while his friend Zack just caught these tiny fish's". Haha, my life is hardly ever boring. :P But I enjoy hearing about my husband's childhood-even if he exaggerates on the details sometime ;) cause I get to learn something new about him or understand more on how he became the Amazing Man that he is. :)

Cherish the Moments

We take life to seriously sometimes! Sometimes I forget that it's not all about just taking care of baby, cleaning the house, and cooking. I've got to remember to cherish the moments I have, to stop and smell the roses or the little smiles and laughs my son gives me when I play with him or tickle his feet. :) Or when my Husband gets a day off from work and we spend it together as a family.
Its amazing how much we let slip by us cuz we're 'too busy' or too worried/stressed about something that has already happened or might or might not even happen.

For the past few days I've seen Gideon, my son, starting to stand more and more on his own, and I think to myself "Where has the time gone? What happened to my little baby that needed me to hold him all the time so he could look around the room?"

My Story

Hey Y'all!
I figured as my first blog post I'd introduce myself and tell a little bit about my life for those of you who don't know me as well. :)
I was born in Portland Oregon and lived there until I was 7 years old; three siblings were born there as well-the twin Elizabeth and Edward, then the youngest Jeremiah. I also have a older half-sister,Kayla, that we got to see every so often.
Since we lived in the city we did a lot of street preaching, mostly at Abortion Mills, Parades, the City Square, and Saturday Markets. After that my Dad got a job as a boilermaker so we packed up, bought a 35 foot RV and traveled around the USA for my Dad's job, not living in one place for more then 3 months at a time.
Finally on August 9th, 2003 we moved into a house that was on 33 acres out in Missouri. Us kids loved it there, it was like a mansion to us! We had our Dalmatian, Daisy, and our Cat, Socks, with us, and when we got to our new house two stray Beagle dogs greeted us that we ended up adopting. :)
Over the next few years we got different animals, more dogs, cats, horses, goats, a cow, sheep, chickens, and turkeys.
Us children also joined the 4-H group in our area for a little while, took music lessons at Weeks Music then at the Sing His Praises Homeschool Orchestra and Choir, and my brothers were also able to join C.A.P (Civil Air Patrol).
In 2004 we met some new people who introduced us to the Sacred Name and Feast days from the bible. My family soon started using the Sacred Name and doing Feast days. :)
On December 10th, 2010 I met my husband for the first time-in person. We had first met online in 2006 through a mutual friends website/chat-room but he was 17 and I was 13 so it was kinda just a friend thing, we had emailed a little bit, lost contact then found each other on Facebook a couple years later. At first it was just two friends meeting (plus my dad had really scared him when they met, haha) but then he offered to give my Nana and I a ride back to Dallas so that we didn't have to take a bus and we kinda bonded after that. We started Courting/Dating in January 2011, got engage April 6, 2011, I graduated from Highschool in May, turned 18 in August and we got married September 17. It was one of the best days of my life! :D I moved to Texas right after the wedding where my Husband lived. And in July 2012 I had our son. YaHWeH has blessed me so much!
We have had our tough days, but we have been able to work it out and its made us stronger. :)

That pretty much brings us up to date.
Here soon my Little man is turning a year old, its so amazing how time flies by! It's like we blink and just years fly by. I guess that's why when we're children our parents say to enjoy it while we can 'cause when we're older time will go by faster, and that we cherish the moments that we have.
